What Does the Ideal Owner Look Like?
The ideal candidate for our weight loss franchise is a driven professional with strong leadership and analytical skills, and a desire to serve others. We value growth-oriented, adaptable individuals who have a keen interest in becoming business owners. We’ve seen great success in both business and clinical leaders. Business leaders with previous experience in multi-unit management, corporate or sales leadership roles make a great fit. Both Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants) have demonstrated success as leaders and owners in our model. Clinicians may have the added benefit of accessing a captive population of patients to drive referrals from.
We're looking for entrepreneurial spirits who are ready to take control of their career trajectory and are excited about the potential in the healthcare industry. Whether you have a background in healthcare, business management, or sales and marketing, if you're passionate about making a difference and building something of your own, you could be the ideal candidate for opening a Medi-Weightloss clinic.

Is the Owner Required to Live in the Market Where They Would Open a Location?
For those pursuing sole ownership, we require the owner to reside in the market where you plan to open your location. Living and working within the community allows you to develop a deeper connection with your clients and better understand the local needs, fostering stronger relationships and ensuring effective management.
However, if you're considering semi-absentee ownership, residency in the location's market is not a requirement. Semi-absentee owners can still be highly effective by leveraging capable management teams and remote management tools. This flexibility empowers you to maintain your primary residence while actively overseeing and growing your business from a distance.
